Tab-Back Grabber does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It runs entirely in the visitor’s browser.
When a store visitor switches to another browser tab, the app changes the browser tab’s title and (optionally) favicon to a message the merchant configured, and restores them when the visitor returns. All of this happens locally in the browser.
None. The app stores no customer data on any server. It reads the store’s public cart item count (via the storefront /cart.js endpoint) only to display a number in the tab title; this is used in-browser and never sent to us or stored. Product title and shop name already present on the page fill optional message tokens and are not transmitted or retained.
The app sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics.
As a public Shopify app, Tab-Back Grabber exposes the required customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact webhooks. Because the app stores no customer data, these requests are acknowledged but there is no data to return or delete.
